Show Notes

What prompted Dan Neuffer to start this new podcast for people experiencing ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, POTS and MCS?  What are some of the worst injustices we experience with invisible illness, and what can you do about it?

Claudia Goodell joins Dan Neuffer on this first podcast and explores issues around stigma, injustice and judgement that affect people experiencing chronic illness and we discuss some strategies on how to cope as well as practical ways of handling more difficult people.

That’s just some of what we cover in the first Wisdom from the Other Side Podcast.

Great job Dan and Claudia! I heard many practical ways to feel and seek support as well as many wise comments about the emotional recovery process in the context of injustice, which we have all undoubtedly experienced. The personal stories drive the messages home. Thanks!

Dan Neuffer, when you told the story where you were at the party barely standing up it made me think of moments that I’ve had that are very similar. It’s definitely frustrating… Read more »

Wow Dan/Claudia this is the first time I’ve actually heard the truth spoken so accurately and it’s as though you were telepathic in regards to everything I and so very many are or have gone through. I’ve fought and fought so hard with all the professionals, literally everyone to the point where I’ve had zero choice but to cut myself completely off from them. It was making me sicker and sicker trying to battle all the… Read more »
